  • tagged

okay, i'll finally do the silly tag thing.

Instructions: Remove ONE question from below, and add in your personal question, make it a total of 20 questions, then tag 8 people in your list, list them out at the end of this post. Notify them in their chat box that he/she has been tagged. Whoever does the tag will have blessings from all. (yeah right, from who, like God?)

    1. What have you realised recently?
That life is short, but gooood :D.

    2. Have you given your first kiss away?
    Kinda.

    3. If you were to be stranded on a deserted island, who are the 11 blog buddies you would take with you? Why?

Only 11? I'm gonna take the question word for word, so don't grumble if you're not here, it means that you probably don't have a blog but it doesn't mean that you aren't my friend. :D

    1. Darrel - Cos life would be dull and sad without this jew. And we also need a rabbi to randomly throw stones at to vent our anger on the island. And we also need to watch something on movie night. XD
    2. Danil - Because I've been blackmailed by him and i need to keep him under my control. :P
    3. Yisan -Yisan would love island beach life. and she's a really good friend to have around. she could even document our carefree life holiday on the island with her camera. :D
    4. Khye Ren - Another great friend whom I wouldn't survive without. Plus she's good to talk to! :D
    5. Alvin - Cos he's a really nice friend with a big heart. He could be like the big brother on the island. XD
    6. Tai Yang - Cos darrel, danil and alvin would want him there. :P and he's also the most retarded fun I've ever known. :D why, you fickle creature. And we'll need someone to explain to us the kinematics and essential sciences of how to live in the wild, but if we actually heed his advice, we'll probably perish immediately.
    7. Ying - cos someone on the island would be sad without her She's a really good friend too and we could make a 'body-rol'l-ers club on the island! and she's great fun to have on a lonely island.
    8. Suren - Though i don't really know him well yet, I am pretty sure island life would be all the better with him. Plus, darrel loooves his cousin!
    9. Ain - Who else would I talk to at 11 p.m.? You're a really close friend and I never want to forget about you and all the fun we had.
    10. Darryl Chew - Everyone loves a Chew. and I'll have a swimming buddy, LOL!
    11. Lyn Li - You're definitely a bring-along cos of all the great times we could have on the island. And we could put to use your treasure-chest of scouting skills.

    4. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
Anywhere away from here. Preferably a beach, with the friends listed above and more!

    5. If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be?
To top the crazy China and Korean students in the Math, Physics and Chemistry tests. :p

    6. Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?
Definitely. Even if i don't see the rainbow, i'll just pretend there is.

    7. What are you afraid to lose the most now?
All my friends in Malaysia. Let's never allow geography to separate us, ever. XD

    8. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
Only $1 mil? Not enough. Lol. But if i'm not being greedy, I'll probably give most of it to my family and use the rest to finance my education. And buy some new books! Garh, I haven't been to a good bookstore in a while.

    9. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
    Probably.

10.List out 3 good points of the person who tagged you.
Um, almost all my blogging pals tagged me. And I'm not even sure of everyone who tagged me. So, well, I know that they're all really great friends and wonderful people!

    11. What are the requirements that you wish from your other half?
To be there for me always. And knows how to have fun! :D

    12. Which type of person do you hate the most?
Racist, religionist, inconsiderate, stupid, agist, sexist people.

    13. What is your ambition?
To be successful in anything I do. And also be a great architect and artist!

    \
    14. If you have faults, would you rather the people around you point out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?
I'd want them to point it out and help me fix it. But don't judge me because of it.

    15. What do you think is the most important thing in your life?
Friends, family and a good direction.

    16. Are you a shopaholic or not?
Hardly. Unless you count in buying food.

    17. Find a word to describe the person who tagged you.
    All of them? ...Wonderful.

    18. If you have a chance. Which part of your character you would like to change?
    I want better time-management! :D

    19. Whats the last shocking thing you've seen or heard?
    ''There's chicken for lunch.''.....Gasp! AGAIN!??

    20. How do you feel now?
Constipated...lol, no. happy that I'm finally done with this tag. XD

I could tag someone else, but everyone else has already done this and tagged me. So , oh well.

    here are pics

I found these pics from the weekend when darrel's parents took me out to Changi Airport to have coffee.

    Suren likes cameras.

    Darrel doesn't.

We spent like three hours talking about all sorts of random crap in Changi. And we sat in the Gold Class lounge :D. And because of that I was late over curfew time to return to the hostel. :/

Anyways, was back in KL for hols and to pick up SPM results :S
I got 10 a's and 2 b's (for Moral and EST). Garh... I like to believe that I scored where it counts most, like in all the core and science subjects... but I'm kiasu and I want moreeeee! So, I'm gonna appeal about my EST marks. Seriously man, EST ~ B?  [*#@*^*#*!!!!!]

Decided to take some pics with teachers, since I'll probably never ever see them again, unless we are fated to meet again :S ! I'll miss them alright.

    Ms anjali, me, Mayapar!

    me, ms HOO, Mayapar!

Me, mr Sara, mayapar, mr Yowman, Darrel.

    Mayapar, darrel, Mr SELVAM!, me.

Went out with the old Aristotle gang to ou for a post-spm results 'celebration' after that.

Tai Yang in the batting cage... From this pic, you can already tell he can't bat for nuts. :) By the way, do you know how much this crazy bugger got for SPM? 13 A'S, 13 ******* A'S!
After finding out ty's results, my mom was thinking of not letting me go out for any more outings too ~ :/

me, jin khai (top), yisan, darrel (top), chiang, ying :). ~ a danil is visible in the extreme right.

chiang, me, yisan, ryan, darrel. ~ once again, the predator danil lurks in the back.

ryan, danil, darrel, me, ying, khye ren :)

I didn't tell them the camera was going off, but somehow darrel always knows when to pose.

The camera's on the floor!    omg!

Me and khye ren :)....wanted to take more pics like this with everyone, but forgot to. oh well, next time then... in june :S.

After sending everyone else home, me, darrel, danil and ryan had dinner. Then us remaining sad souls went to watch Step Up 2! It was really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really good :). Way better than step up 1. Would have been better if I didn't have two bimbos sitting on my right commenting on how hot or stupid-looking the leads were.

Went home at 11. Parents appeared pretty happy with the results (Of course they really wern't, they're bugged out by the b's too). They bought me a cake~ an ice-cream cake :O! also got a new watch from my aunt and uncle :D.

Going out with ain and darrel later to ou in about an hour. Can't wait. Will probably post more pics, if I don't decide to slack.

I'll miss you Malaysian peeps :).

http://karlshern.cbox.ws/ - post something here dammit! XD

  • My Life in Singapore, so far.

    Here's a korean called Tony...

And an Indonesian called Kevin Lee Marvin, he's nice to cuddle :)...

In school, we go for a lot of field trips. This one's to the National Art Gallery.

Now why's the girl in the painting so gila you may ask?... Well, cos she's geting a free nose dig thanks to Kelly. ...Waah, SYOK-nyaaa!

I can't resist those painted lips... mmm, tastes like acrylic.

Zheng Yi likes shiny things, especially that shiny bit to the right...

...And I have such good friends.

This piece in the Gallery was truly interesting. So this is where all those banned, politically-wrong Malaysian artworks end up...

This is Genghis. He claims he's from Malaysia (which would make him the only other Malaysian in my form) but I prefer to believe he's actually a Mongolian.

And that was the introduction to my wondeful life in Singapore. :) Semoga anda semua dapat memahami dengan lebih mendalam akan sehari dalam kehidupan seorang pelajar di Singapura. Jumpa lagi!

  • born from boredom

After 3 weeks of god forsaken homestay-life, I have entered the even more god-forsaken pit of boarding school life. I won't say that the boarding school's that bad, it's actually quite a pleasant environment albeit I had to spend 14 hours cleaning my room to make it livable for even the most weathered of Afghan refugees). But it's fucking lonely.        Didn't think that living with 999 other people would be that awfully solitary, did I?

Well, since nothing much has changed in school except for the fact that I'm stupid compared to the Koreans and Chinese in everything else other than General Paper, I'll blog about -dum dum dum- boarding life.

Well, my room's like right at the end of the corridor so I always get these random Korean boys slamming the staircase exit door in the middle of the night so they can go have a puff (FYI: ALL Korean boys smoke). I can't sleep at night, quarterly because of them and 75% because this bed don't feel like home. :(

80% of my time is spent stoning by myself, of which I have nurtured a new hobby; sitting in front of the koi pond with an extra-large bag of chips for three hours or more. Friends don't come easy here cos everyone's so cliquish. Koreans with koreans, chinese with chinese, thais with thais, malaysians with noone. There are probably only about 4 Malaysians in the whole school and none of us seem to care about each other, hell I don't think I've really talked to any of them except the Sarawakian girl in my class to ask for the answers to the math homework. Otherwise, I've made only a couple of acquaintances whom I would actually call friends. Oh, and I also like Koreans. Dunno why. They're just very nice, happy, singsongy people.

Sometimes, I get really nostalgic and start thinking about those good old times in kdu and how none of us probably really appreciated those moments then. But I do now. I know everyone else has insinuated this on their blogs but I'll insinuate it again: we simply have to get together and meet up again, an aristotle reunion sounds really nice at this moment.

    till' next time.

  • Today

is a significant day. Or, it should be.

Well, it's been a month. How's that supposed to fare? I really don't know. If this still were 4/5 Aristostle, we'd all be the best of friends and doing all sorts of crap by now. But no. Life is crawling slowly for me.

It just happens that around now, everyone's feeling a piercing nostalgia for the friends we had and those we lost to Australia, UK and yadda yadda. So, I shall join in on the eulogies. The Aristotle Class of 2007 has gone. But not the network of friendship we forged durimg those two years.

Frankly, the last 2 years at KDU were the best of my entire school life. It's thanks to the people. All because of the people. The retardedness, occasional drama and heartbreak, all 100% worth it. Still remember the first day of school in 2006? It was all a little awkward at first and I still happen to remember Chiang, cos he was sitting at the back of me, all alone, keeping quiet. Or the awkwardness of all these different people from different classes who have seen each other for three years but never really known one another, coming together. Then having new faces, Zetty, then Kevin, courtesy of a student exchange from Dickens. Hahah, if that exchange hadn't happened, Rainbow Rangers, Get Your Hands Off, Girlfriend and a whole bunch of other Youtube monstrousities wouldn't have happened. Darrel would be sad about that, this is his life now XD.

Then there were the mid-year entries; Jin Khai and Jade. They certainly brought a lot to our class. There's too much to be said about those two years than I can fit into my entire blog. The Paramount Championship tension, the boy's and girl's annual soccer match (girls pawned boys XD) and the anti-climax SPM.

Nothing can erase what has happened in our heads. It is our memories for all of us to cherish forever. Hopefully, we can make more memories together in the future. Don't lose touch, people.

I'll miss you (in no particular order): Alvin Foo, Darrel Kamish, Darryl Chew, Goh Lishan, Nicole Soo, Fu Khye-Ren, Jin Khai, Zetty Erisa Buang, Cheong Yisan, Ng Jian Chung, Tai Yang, Quah Ying Ying, Wong Sue Ann, Tan Mae Yee, Hiew Su Ean, Vivian Toh, Jin Khai, Jade Yap, Danil Izwan, Alexander Teh, Chan Kevin, Melody, Kendrick, Yong Choi Yi, Tze Chiang, Ain Aissa, Ainaa, Amran, Aiman, Aifah, Alicia Chan, Boon Keong, Min Yong, Ryan Lim, Lyn Li, Florentyna, Cheong Ru Yi, Teh SzeWen, Wan Nee, Azalea, Udminder Kaur, Sabrina, Genna Gan, Najwa, Berlin Liew, Livia Tee, Hayati, Victor Low, Amir Omar, Aiman Ahmad, Iman Effendi, Priya Rajendran, Ms Hoo Sze Yen (Physics & 2006 Homeroom Master!), Ms Anjali (English & 2007 H/r M), Mr Chew (A. Math), Mr Yow (Chem), Mr Pang(A Math), Mr Selvam (BM slave-driver!), Mr Zac (Bio), Mr Gandhi (Math :)), Ms Lydia, Ms Chandini. [If your name is not in the list, tell me in my cbox :) Everyone deserves a place here.]
